UAC has made a habit of confirming that a delivery happened while never stating the quantity or the receiving unit. That silence forces analysts to count aircraft in the manufacturer&rsquo;s own footage, tail number by tail number.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<div style=\"background:#f8f9fa;border-left:4px solid #1565c0;padding:20px 22px;margin:18px 0 24px;border-radius:0 8px 8px 0;font-size:16px;line-height:1.7;display:flex;gap:20px;align-items:flex-start\"><div><em>&ldquo;The number of aircraft in this batch is not specified; photos and video released by UAC show two or more.&rdquo;<\/em><div style=\"margin-top:10px;font-size:14px;color:#555\"><strong>Guy Plopsky<\/strong> &mdash; Defence analyst<\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because each batch is opaque, yearly production estimates vary widely &mdash; open-source figures for 2026 range from roughly seven aircraft, assuming one per announced batch, up to twenty or so if each batch holds two or three. Single-seat and twin-engine, with thrust-vectoring nozzles that give it its trademark airshow agility, it carries a powerful radar and long-range missiles and has been worked hard over Ukraine in escort, patrol and stand-off strike roles.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is the subtext of a low-key delivery notice: sanctions were meant to choke this line, and Komsomolsk-on-Amur is still rolling Flankers off the ramp.
