It is no F-35, but that is the point. Russian drones have strayed into Polish airspace repeatedly during the war in Ukraine, and NATO allies have rotated fighters through Poland to help guard the border.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"padding-top:22px\">Husarz number nine, made in Italy<\/h2>\n<p>Meanwhile, at the <a href=\"https:\/\/migflug.com\/air-bases\/lask\/\">32nd Tactical Air Base in \u0141ask<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/migflug.com\/air-forces\/polish-air-force\/\">Polish Air Force<\/a>'s F-35 fleet grew to nine. The new jet, tail number 3517, arrived on 1 October and is the first Polish F-35A assembled at Leonardo's Final Assembly and Check-Out facility in Cameri, near Milan, where it first flew on 22 July 2026.
