They had arrived in England from a Middle East deployment on 26 September and set off for the United States on Saturday as part of a group of 12 F-15s, escorted by three aerial refuelling tankers.<\/p>\n<p>Spotter footage filmed at RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk shows the Seymour Johnson Strike Eagles departing on 3 October. Its wingman went with it, standard practice so that a jet with a problem is never left on its own.
