Eton, which builds the aircraft&rsquo;s payload launch system in both ITAR and non-ITAR variants, joined too, as did Germany&rsquo;s Hensoldt, brought in specifically for the German market. Compared with the latest design it carries a wing a quarter smaller; newer jets gain roughly 3.3 metres of span for more fuel and range.
