La misma autorizaci\u00f3n abarca los misiles aire-aire AIM-120C-8 AMRAAM y AIM-9X Block II, los pods de punter\u00eda AN\/AAQ-28 Litening, el sistema de punter\u00eda montado en casco Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System II y un sensor infrarrojo de b\u00fasqueda y seguimiento. Su receptor digital de alerta de radar detecta y clasifica las se\u00f1ales electromagn\u00e9ticas que emite un radar enemigo, mientras que un inhibidor basado en memoria de radiofrecuencia digital (DRFM) genera respuestas personalizadas dise\u00f1adas para frustrar el bloqueo de un misil. Fundamentalmente, todo el sistema se monta internamente, por lo que no ocupa espacio en la estaci\u00f3n de armas ni genera resistencia aerodin\u00e1mica, aunque L3Harris tambi\u00e9n ofrece un m\u00f3dulo con hardware id\u00e9ntico para operadores que utilizan aviones nuevos y modernizados.<\/p>\r\n<p>El objetivo del dise\u00f1o es tanto la durabilidad como el rendimiento puro. L3Harris dise\u00f1\u00f3 el sistema en torno a hardware de procesamiento comercial 3U y un n\u00famero reducido de unidades reemplazables en l\u00ednea, lo que disminuye el peso, mejora la fiabilidad y permite a los t\u00e9cnicos de mantenimiento intercambiar m\u00f3dulos en el campo. La FAP opera actualmente una combinaci\u00f3n de cazas Mirage 2000 y MiG-29, ambos introducidos en las d\u00e9cadas de 1980 y 1990, y cuyo mantenimiento resulta cada vez m\u00e1s complejo y costoso. El presidente interino Jos\u00e9 Balc\u00e1zar intent\u00f3 aplazar el compromiso financiero al siguiente gobierno; la firma prevista se pospuso, y tanto el ministro de Defensa, Carlos D\u00edaz, como el ministro de Relaciones Exteriores, Hugo de Zela, renunciaron por la gesti\u00f3n del acuerdo. Integra a Per\u00fa en una creciente comunidad de operadores que utilizan una arquitectura de guerra electr\u00f3nica com\u00fan. L3Harris afirma que ocho pa\u00edses ya han seleccionado el sistema, entre ellos Bar\u00e9in, Bulgaria, Eslovaquia, Marruecos, Taiw\u00e1n y Polonia, y la compa\u00f1\u00eda est\u00e1 aumentando la producci\u00f3n hasta alcanzar aproximadamente 233 sistemas. Bar\u00e9in prob\u00f3 la variante interna en un Block 70 por primera vez en febrero de 2025 en la Base de la Fuerza A\u00e9rea Edwards.<\/p>\r\n<p>La arquitectura compartida implica actualizaciones compartidas. A medida que evolucionan los radares de amenazas y los sistemas tierra-aire, un inhibidor definido por software puede actualizarse en una coalici\u00f3n de usuarios en lugar de hacerlo de uno en uno en cada fuerza a\u00e9rea.
