Il a \u00e9tabli 41 records du monde au total et, rien qu&#039;en 1967, il a transport\u00e9 100 tonnes de m\u00e9tal \u00e0 une altitude de pr\u00e8s de 7\u00a0900 m\u00e8tres. Environ 66 exemplaires ont \u00e9t\u00e9 construits et, bien que la plupart soient retir\u00e9s du service depuis longtemps, quelques-uns sont encore en service au sein de l&#039;aviation de transport militaire russe, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 leur t\u00e9nacit\u00e9 et \u00e0 leurs capacit\u00e9s irrempla\u00e7ables.
