Cela suffit pour transporter une ogive de 225 kg sur plus de 580 km. Une JDAM GBU-38 standard atteint environ 25 km\u00a0; m\u00eame la JDAM-ER \u00e0 port\u00e9e \u00e9tendue plafonne \u00e0 pr\u00e8s de 70 km. Il s&#039;agit d&#039;un programme conjoint de l&#039;Arm\u00e9e de l&#039;air et de la Marine, cette derni\u00e8re travaillant \u00e9galement \u00e0 son int\u00e9gration \u00e0 bord des navires.<\/p>\r\n<p>Derri\u00e8re cet enthousiasme se cache un probl\u00e8me de stocks. Les op\u00e9rations r\u00e9centes ont consomm\u00e9 les munitions plus rapidement que pr\u00e9vu\u00a0; une seule campagne aurait \u00e9puis\u00e9 environ 10\u00a0000 JDAM, selon le Centre d&#039;\u00e9tudes strat\u00e9giques et internationales.
