On Monday, 26 October 2026, Castelion announced that it has received a contract modification under its existing work with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) to begin integrating its Blackbeard hypersonic weapon on the <a href=\"https:\/\/migflug.com\/aircraft\/f-16-fighting-falcon\/\">F-16 Fighting Falcon<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Until now, Blackbeard has been a Navy and Army story, racing towards service on the <a href=\"https:\/\/migflug.com\/aircraft\/fa-18-super-hornet\/\">F\/A-18E\/F Super Hornet<\/a> and on a ground launcher.
