Production estimate of 220 to 280 aircraft a year from FlightGlobal World Air Forces 2026 and independent analysts; Chinese industry capacity is projected to reach 300 to 400 a year from 2027. Export figures are orders placed, not aircraft delivered, and include the JF-17, which is co-produced with Pakistan and exported by Pakistan Aeronautical Complex. Reported negotiations with Egypt, Algeria and Iran are not counted because no order has been confirmed. Chart: Afterburner, MiGFlug’s Magazine.
