The country's Agency for Defense Development has already shown its hand, unveiling an in-house sixth-generation design at an aerospace conference in Daejeon in July.<\/p><p style=\"margin:0 0 18px\">The formal step came on 21 August, when the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) opened a roughly 14-month concept study, inviting industry to propose configurations by 1 October.
