Flew food, medical supplies and equipment to the Philippines after the typhoon; a non-combat operation, listed because the service has no combat record.

The Royal Brunei Air Force and its predecessor air wing have never flown in a war. The Brunei revolt of December 1962, the only armed conflict on Brunei soil since the Second World War, came before the air wing existed and was fought by British and Gurkha forces supported by RAF transports and Royal Navy helicopters. The service’s operations abroad have been humanitarian. After Typhoon Trami, known in the Philippines as Kristine, struck Luzon in October 2024, a C295MW — then one of only two in the fleet, delivered nine months earlier — flew food, medical supplies and equipment to Villamor Air Base in Manila, landing on 28 October 2024. By April 2026 the service said its C295s had flown 518 flights across eight Southeast Asian countries, humanitarian and VIP missions among them.

结果 The aircraft landed at Villamor Air Base on 28 October 2024.

The cargo tonnage and number of flights to the Philippines were not published.
