Lockheed T-33 Jet Flight in Waterloo (near Toronto)<\/h1>\n<\/div><\/div>

The Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star - often called T-Bird - is the first and only Jet Warbird available in Canada for passenger flights. The primary users - United States Air Force and Navy, German Air Force, Japan Air Self Defense Force, and Royal Canadian Air Force had used the T-33 as an advanced military jet trainer and for target towing. Other nations had also used the T-33 <\/a>as a combat aircraft and reconnaissance aircraft. During the failed Bay of Pigs invasion in Cuba, the Cuban Air Force used the T-33 and scored several kills. The CIA planners of that invasion had failed to discover that the (US-supplied) T-33 jets had long since\u00a0been armed with machine guns and bombs.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
