L'acciaio della Guerra Fredda.<\/h1>\n<p>Progettato da Mikoyan-Gurevich nell'Unione Sovietica e alimentato da un turbogetto Rolls-Royce Nene reso ingegneristicamente, l'MiG-15 fu costruito per un unico scopo: dominare i cieli sopra la Corea. Oltre 13.000 esemplari furono prodotti solo in URSS, rendendolo uno degli aerei a getto pi\u00f9 costruiti della storia. Basandosi su questo inaspettato colpo di fortuna, il motore Rolls-Royce Nene, e sulle ricerche tedesche del periodo bellico sull'ala a freccia, il team applic\u00f2 una filosofia inflessibile al progetto: la cellula pi\u00f9 piccola possibile costruita attorno al motore pi\u00f9 potente che potesse contenervi. Potenza di fuoco devastante<\/strong><br>Un cannone da 37mm N-37 e due cannoni da 23mm NR-23 davano all'MiG-15 abbastanza potenza per abbattere un bombardiere B-29 in un singolo passaggio. Un singolo turbogetto Klimov alimentato tramite una presa d'aria divisa nel muso, con il cockpit incassato sopra e dietro di esso. La costruzione interamente in metallo manteneva la cellula robusta e facile da riparare sul campo, anche su piste di prima linea rudimentali. L'ala a freccia di 35 gradi \u2014 basata su ricerche tedesche catturate \u2014 le conferiva un vantaggio decisivo sui jet ad ala diritta nel volo transonico. Una cellula robusta interamente in metallo, un turbogetto derivato dal miglior motore della sua epoca, e una maneggevolezza affilata abbastanza da combattere la prima guerra aerea totalmente a getto della storia sopra la Corea. Pilotato da pi\u00f9 di 35 forze aeree su quattro continenti, il tipo vide azione dal MiG Alley al canale di Suez fino ai cieli sopra Taiwan. Robusto carrello triciclo abbastanza resistente per le piste sovietiche rudimentali. Punti d'aggancio per razzi e bombe. Il risultato: un aereo che punisce severamente chi lo pilota male ma che \u00e8 devastante in mani esperte, facile da mantenere e spietatamente efficace. Adottato in tutto il Patto di Varsavia e oltre, l'MiG-15 divenne uno degli aerei a getto pi\u00f9 prodotti mai costruiti, con oltre 13.000 esemplari prodotti solo nell'Unione Sovietica. Il suo successo gener\u00f2 un successore diretto \u2014 l'MiG-17 \u2014 ma nessuno ha eguagliato il ruolo dell'originale nel ridisegnare la guerra
