Juni 1982 beobachteten die syrischen Luftverteidigungskr\u00e4fte im libanesischen Bekaa-Tal kleine, langsame Flugzeuge, die \u00fcber ihnen kreisten, und taten das Naheliegendste: Sie schalteten ihre Radarger\u00e4te ein und bereiteten sich auf den Beschuss vor. Es war ein fataler Fehler. Bei den kleinen Flugger\u00e4ten handelte es sich um unbemannte israelische Drohnen \u2013 Attrappen und Aufkl\u00e4rer ohne Besatzung \u2013, und sobald die syrischen Radarger\u00e4te aufleuchteten, verrieten sie ihre genauen Positionen an die in der N\u00e4he wartenden israelischen Kampfjets.<\/p><p>Was folgte, war ein Gemetzel an Maschinen. Innerhalb weniger Stunden, <a href=\"https:\/\/migflug.com\/jetflights\/mole-cricket-19-bekaa-valley-israel-syria-1982\/\">Siebzehn von neunzehn syrischen Raketenstellungen wurden zerst\u00f6rt<\/a> Dutzende syrische Flugzeuge wurden abgeschossen, fast ohne israelische Verluste. Es war eine der einseitigsten Luftschlachten der Geschichte \u2013 und im Zentrum stand ein neuartiges Flugger\u00e4t, das v\u00f6llig ohne Pilot auskam. Doch die Drohne als ernstzunehmendes Kriegsinstrument war gr\u00f6\u00dftenteils eine israelische Erfindung. Ein Kampfpilot kann minutenlang \u00fcber einem Ziel kreisen; eine Drohne kann stundenlang dort bleiben oder spurlos verschwinden. Das hat die Kriegsf\u00fchrung grundlegend ver\u00e4ndert.<\/p><p>Die Bekaa-Ebene demonstrierte das Potenzial dieser Strategie. Israel schickte unbemannte T\u00e4uschk\u00f6rper voraus, um die syrischen Radaranlagen aufzusp\u00fcren, \u00fcberwachte die Ergebnisse in Echtzeit mit anderen Drohnen und leitete die Daten an die wartenden Kampfjets weiter. In den darauffolgenden Tagen verlor Syrien sein gesamtes vorgeschobenes Raketennetzwerk und rund achtzig Flugzeuge, w\u00e4hrend die israelischen Verluste vernachl\u00e4ssigbar gering waren. Keine einzelne Waffe entschied diese Schlacht, doch die geduldige, unbemannte \u00dcberwachung erm\u00f6glichte den Erfolg des gesamten Systems \u2013 und Luftstreitkr\u00e4fte weltweit nahmen dies zur Kenntnis.<\/p><h2 id=\"hunter-killer\" style=\"padding-top:22px\">Der J\u00e4ger-Killer<\/h2><p>Die Amerikaner gingen den n\u00e4chsten Schritt: Sie bewaffneten die Drohne. Die MQ-1 Predator und ihr gr\u00f6\u00dferes Schwestermodell, die MQ-9 Reaper, konnten ein Ziel nicht nur stundenlang beobachten, sondern es auch mit einer Rakete zerst\u00f6ren \u2013 alles gesteuert von einer Besatzung in einem Wohnwagen Tausende von Kilometern entfernt, oft auf einem anderen Kontinent. Zwei Jahrzehnte lang pr\u00e4gten diese Jagd- und Vernichtungsdrohnen die amerikanische Kriegsf\u00fchrung und warfen dr\u00e4ngende neue Fragen auf: Was bedeutet es, einen Krieg ferngesteuert zu f\u00fchren, wenn der \u201cPilot\u201d nach einem Kampfeinsatz am anderen Ende der Welt zum Abendessen nach Hause f\u00e4hrt?<\/p><p>Die Predator war urspr\u00fcnglich keine Kampfdrohne. In den 1990er-Jahren flog sie erstmals als reine Aufkl\u00e4rungsdrohne und beobachtete die Kriege auf dem Balkan. Erst nach 2001 wurde sie mit Raketen bewaffnet und sowohl zur Jagd als auch zur Beobachtung eingesetzt \u2013 und als dies m\u00f6glich war, erwies sich die Versuchung, sie \u00fcberall einzusetzen, als unwiderstehlich. Zwei Jahrzehnte lang wurde die bewaffnete Drohne zur charakteristischen Waffe der langen Eins\u00e4tze in Afghanistan, Irak, Jemen und dar\u00fcber hinaus. Die Warnung kam 2020 in einem kurzen, brutalen Krieg um die umstrittene Region Bergkarabach. Dort setzte eine Seite relativ preiswerte, in der T\u00fcrkei hergestellte Drohnen ein, um die Panzer, Gesch\u00fctze und Flugabwehrfahrzeuge des Gegners fast nach Belieben zu jagen. Milit\u00e4rbeobachter sahen sich die Aufnahmen an und erkannten, dass sich etwas ver\u00e4ndert hatte: Teure Panzerverb\u00e4nde konnten nun aus der Luft mit Flugzeugen, die nur einen Bruchteil ihrer Ziele kosteten, dezimiert werden. Der Krieg in der Ukraine war gepr\u00e4gt von kleinen, entbehrlichen Drohnen, die fast kistenweise gekauft wurden: Quadcopter, die Granaten abwarfen, rasende FPV-Drohnen, die direkt in Panzer geflogen wurden, und Langstrecken-Einweg-Angriffsdrohnen, die in Schw\u00e4rmen gestartet wurden. Pl\u00f6tzlich konnte eine Waffe, die nur wenige hundert Dollar kostete, ein Fahrzeug \u2013 oder sogar einen Panzer \u2013 zerst\u00f6ren. <a href=\"https:\/\/migflug.com\/jetflights\/fpv-drone-destroys-black-hawk-helicopter-iraq-victory-base\/\">Hubschrauber<\/a> \u2013 im Wert von Millionen. Auch die teuren Jagd- und T\u00f6tungsmaschinen waren nicht immun; selbst die m\u00e4chtigen <a href=\"https:\/\/migflug.com\/jetflights\/mq-9-reaper-fleet-drops-to-135-after-iran-losses-the-drone-that-changed-warfare-meets-its-match\/\">Die Reaper-Flotte hat Verluste erlitten.<\/a>, Und der Kampf gegen Drohnen ist mittlerweile so allgegenw\u00e4rtig, dass selbst ein Pilot in einem Propellertrainer einmal <a href=\"https:\/\/migflug.com\/jetflights\/a-rifle-a-propeller-trainer-and-a-kill-ukraines-yak-52-shoots-down-russian-geran-drone\/\">Ich habe einen mit einem Gewehr erschossen.<\/a>.<\/p><h2 id=\"loyal-wingman\" style=\"padding-top:22px\">Der treue Fl\u00fcgelmann<\/h2><p>Das neueste Kapitel integriert Drohnen wieder in die Welt der bemannten Flugzeuge. Die gro\u00dfen Luftstreitkr\u00e4fte entwickeln autonome \u201cLoyal Wingman\u201d-Drohnen \u2013 unbemannte, von k\u00fcnstlicher Intelligenz gesteuerte Jets, die in die gef\u00e4hrlichsten Gefechtszonen vordringen, Seite an Seite mit einem bemannten Kampfflugzeug, das im Hintergrund bleibt und die Drohnen dirigiert.
