Freitag ist mit Abstand der beste Tag, wenn Sie Abwechslung suchen: Der \u00dcberflug der Typhoon, beide Fallschirmteams, die Mustang, die Starlings und die Spitfire landen alle am letzten Tag, der gleichzeitig auch der Publikumstag ist. Juli in Hampshire ein, um sein Programm zu validieren. Hier begann der britische Motorflug.<\/p>\n\n<p>Am 16. Oktober 1908 flog Samuel Franklin Cody, ein amerikanischer Showman mit einer Wildwest-Show und einem ausgepr\u00e4gten technischen Talent, das britische Armeeflugzeug Nr. 1 \u00fcber eine Strecke von etwa 424 Metern in einer H\u00f6he von rund 5,5 Metern und blieb dabei etwa eine halbe Minute in der Luft. Es war der erste anerkannte, motorisierte Dauerflug eines Flugzeugs im Vereinigten K\u00f6nigreich und fand auf Farnborough Common statt. September 1952 zerbrach der Prototyp der de Havilland DH.110 w\u00e4hrend eines Kunstflugman\u00f6vers in der Luft. Testpilot John Derry und Flugbeobachter Anthony Richards waren sofort tot. Tr\u00fcmmerteile st\u00fcrzten in die Zuschauermenge, t\u00f6teten 29 Zuschauer und verletzten etwa 60. Insgesamt starben 31 Menschen.
