Zwanzig dieser 28 Maschinen wurden von der 787-9 auf die verl\u00e4ngerte 787-10 umger\u00fcstet \u2013 das bedeutet rund 50 zus\u00e4tzliche Sitzpl\u00e4tze pro Flugzeug, und das bei einer Fluggesellschaft, die erst seit weniger als einem Monat im Linienverkehr t\u00e4tig ist.<\/p>\r\n<p>Das zeugt entweder von enormem Selbstvertrauen oder von enormem Druck. Riyadh Air ist nicht einfach nach Farnborough gekommen und hat 28 brandneue Flugzeuge bestellt. Die Fluggesellschaft nutzte Optionen aus ihrem urspr\u00fcnglichen Dreamliner-Vertrag f\u00fcr 2023 und wandelte die meisten davon in Bestellungen f\u00fcr die gr\u00f6\u00dfere Variante um.<\/p>\r\n<p>Boeing gibt an, dass die endg\u00fcltige Anzahl der 787-Maschinen von Riyadh Air auf 67 steigen wird, sobald die restlichen 17 Flugzeuge dieser Vereinbarung feststehen. Dies ist eine bedingte Aussage \u00fcber die Zukunft und keine Zahl, die die Fluggesellschaft heute bereits h\u00e4lt.<\/p>\r\n<p>Die 787-10 ist das verl\u00e4ngerte Modell der Familie: Sie bietet rund 50 Sitze mehr als die 787-9, und Boeing gibt eine 25-prozentige Reduzierung des Treibstoffverbrauchs und der Emissionen im Vergleich zum Flugzeugtyp an, den sie \u00fcblicherweise ersetzt. Der Nachteil liegt in der Reichweite. Sechs weitere A350-1000 wurden fest bestellt, wodurch sich die Zusage von Riyadh Air auf 31 Flugzeuge erh\u00f6hte. Die Vereinbarung bis 2025 umfasste urspr\u00fcnglich bis zu 50 Maschinen.
