Nur einer von ihnen brach aus, \u00fcberquerte einen Ozean und schaffte es zur\u00fcck auf die eigene Seite, um wieder zu fliegen. Sein Name war Franz von Werra, und der Film, der \u00fcber ihn gedreht wurde, hie\u00df schlicht \u201e\u2026\u201c., <em>Der Davongekommenere<\/em>.<\/p>\r\n<p>Um dorthin zu gelangen, waren ein abgeschossener Kampfjet, eine falsche niederl\u00e4ndische Identit\u00e4t, eine beinahe gestohlene Hurricane, ein Sprung aus einem fahrenden Zug und die \u00dcberquerung eines eiskalten Flusses in ein neutrales Land n\u00f6tig.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<div style=\"background:#f5f5f5;padding:20px;border-radius:8px;margin:24px 0\"><h3 style=\"padding-top:0;margin-top:0\">Kurzinfo<\/h3><ul style=\"margin:0;line-height:1.8\"><li><strong>Pilot:<\/strong> Oberleutnant Franz von Werra, Jagdflieger der Luftwaffe<\/li><li><strong>Abgeschossen:<\/strong> \u00dcber Kent, 5. September 1940, w\u00e4hrend der Luftschlacht um England<\/li><li><strong>Flugzeug:<\/strong> Messerschmitt Bf 109<\/li><li><strong>Gro\u00dfartige Flucht:<\/strong> Er sprang im Januar 1941 in Kanada auf einen fahrenden Zug.<\/li><li><strong>Heimweg:<\/strong> \u00dcber den zugefrorenen Sankt-Lorenz-Strom, dann Mexiko, Brasilien, Spanien, Italien<\/li><li><strong>Unterscheidung:<\/strong> Der einzige deutsche Kriegsgefangene aus Kanada, dem die Flucht gelang und der Deutschland erreichte.<\/li><\/ul><\/div>\r\n\r\n<div style=\"position:relative;padding-bottom:56.25%;height:0;overflow:hidden;margin:24px 0\"><iframe class=\"skip-lazy\" data-no-lazy=\"1\" loading=\"eager\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Gw83Ml-bphw\" style=\"position:absolute;top:0;left:0;width:100%;height:100%;border:0;border-radius:8px\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\r\n<h2 style=\"padding-top:22px\">Der Mann, der nicht gefasst bleiben wollte<\/h2>\r\n<p>Von Werra flog einen <a href=\"https:\/\/migflug.com\/jetflights\/de\/flugzeug\/messerschmitt-bf-109\/\">Messerschmitt Bf 109<\/a> Als er im September 1940 \u00fcber England abgesetzt und gefangen genommen wurde, bekam ihm die Gefangenschaft nicht. Er entkam einem Arbeitstrupp im Lake District und irrte tagelang frei in den Bergen umher, bevor er wieder gefasst wurde.<\/p>\r\n<p>Sein n\u00e4chster Versuch war reines Theater. Im Dezember 1940 grub er sich mit einigen anderen aus einem Lager in Swanwick in einen Tunnel, w\u00e4hrend der Lagerchor lautstark sang. Er entschied fast sofort, dass die Gefangenschaft nicht von Dauer sein w\u00fcrde. Gemeinfrei<\/figcaption><\/figure>\r\n<p>Der Bluff w\u00e4re beinahe spektakul\u00e4r gelungen. Er \u00fcberredete einen Lokf\u00fchrer zur Hilfe, erreichte den RAF-Flugplatz in Hucknall und lie\u00df sich von einem Mechaniker die Steuerung eines Hurricane-Jagdflugzeugs erkl\u00e4ren \u2013 bis ihm ein Offizier einen geladenen Revolver an die Rippen dr\u00fcckte. Am 21. Januar 1941, als der Gefangenenzug durch Ontario ratterte, stie\u00df von Werra ein Fenster auf und st\u00fcrzte sich in eine Schneewehe. (Gemeinfrei)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\r\n<p>Die Vereinigten Staaten waren noch neutral. Ihm wurde lediglich illegale Einreise vorgeworfen, und der deutsche Konsul zahlte umgehend seine Kaution. W\u00e4hrend Washington und Ottawa \u00fcber die Auslieferung stritten, gelang von Werra die Flucht \u00fcber die Grenze nach Mexiko und er reiste \u00fcber Brasilien, Spanien und Italien schlie\u00dflich bis April 1941 nach Deutschland.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<div style=\"background:#f8f9fa;border-left:4px solid #5C91FF;padding:20px 22px;margin:18px 0 24px;border-radius:0 8px 8px 0;font-size:16px;line-height:1.7\"><em>\u201c&quot;Der Davongekommenere.&quot;\u201d<\/em><div style=\"margin-top:10px;font-size:14px;color:#555\"><strong>Der Beiname, der anhaftete<\/strong> \u2014 sp\u00e4ter der Titel des Buches und des Films \u00fcber ihn<\/div><\/div>\r\n<h2 style=\"padding-top:22px\">Ein kurzlebiger Triumph<\/h2>\r\n<p>Er kehrte als Ber\u00fchmtheit nach Hause zur\u00fcck, nachdem er auf h\u00f6chster Ebene dar\u00fcber informiert worden war, wie die Briten Gefangene verh\u00f6rten \u2013 Informationen, die die Ausbildung der Luftwaffe-Besatzungen grundlegend ver\u00e4nderten. Im Oktober 1941, nur wenige Monate nach seiner R\u00fcckkehr, st\u00fcrzte von Werras Bf 109 \u00fcber der Nordsee ab, offenbar aufgrund eines Motorschadens.
