La difficult\u00e9 r\u00e9side dans le fait de mener cette op\u00e9ration sans faire de victimes.<\/p><p>Trois F-16 sont arriv\u00e9s \u00e0 Eglin entre 2024 et 2025 pour \u00eatre transform\u00e9s en bancs d&#039;essai dans le cadre du projet VENOM-AFT, puis remis \u00e0 la 96e escadre d&#039;essais et \u00e0 la 53e escadre. Les appareils ont repris les vols en juin afin de prouver leur navigabilit\u00e9 apr\u00e8s les modifications. Plus vite l\u2019Arm\u00e9e de l\u2019air pourra prouver la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 d\u2019un comportement autonome sur un F-16 pilot\u00e9, plus vite elle pourra faire confiance \u00e0 ce m\u00eame code sur un appareil sans pilote. Gagnon a d\u00e9crit l\u2019objectif comme une \u201c\u00a0acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration du d\u00e9ploiement\u00a0\u201d\u00a0: aller aussi vite que possible en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9 afin que les drones arrivent plus t\u00f4t.<\/p><h2 style=\"padding-top:22px\">Pourquoi un avion de chasse des ann\u00e9es 1970 sert de mod\u00e8le aux drones de demain<\/h2><p>VENOM alimente directement le programme Collaborative Combat Aircraft, la flotte de drones d&#039;escorte semi-autonomes et bon march\u00e9 que l&#039;arm\u00e9e de l&#039;air souhaite d\u00e9ployer aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s des avions de combat. <a href=\"https:\/\/migflug.com\/jetflights\/fr\/aeronef\/f-35-eclair-ii\/\">F-35<\/a> et le futur F-47. Chaque le\u00e7on tir\u00e9e des bancs d&#039;essai du F-16 \u2014 comment une IA g\u00e8re une fusion, une formation, un passage d&#039;armement \u2014 est une le\u00e7on que les CCA h\u00e9ritent.<\/p><p>Le programme ACE de la DARPA et son avion X-62A VISTA ont pos\u00e9 les bases de ce projet. En septembre 2023, ce dernier a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 le tout premier combat a\u00e9rien rapproch\u00e9 entre un F-16 pilot\u00e9 par une IA et un F-16 pilot\u00e9 par un humain. VENOM exploite cette preuve de concept et la transforme en une cha\u00eene de production reproductible pour les tests d&#039;autonomie sur des avions de combat de premi\u00e8re ligne classiques.<\/p><p>Il y a deux ans, c&#039;\u00e9tait PowerPoint et simulations. Cette semaine, c&#039;\u00e9tait un Fighting Falcon gris qui s&#039;\u00e9levait d&#039;Eglin, volant de fa\u00e7on autonome, avec un humain \u00e0 bord. Les robots ne remplacent pas encore le pilote.
