Elle interdirait \u00e9galement \u00e0 l&#039;arm\u00e9e de l&#039;air de retirer ce type d&#039;appareil du service tant qu&#039;un rempla\u00e7ant certifi\u00e9 n&#039;est pas en service.<\/p>\r\n<p>L&#039;arm\u00e9e de l&#039;air am\u00e9ricaine se bat depuis des ann\u00e9es pour mettre hors service les A-10, arguant qu&#039;une plateforme de tir lente et volant \u00e0 basse altitude ne peut rivaliser avec les syst\u00e8mes de d\u00e9fense a\u00e9rienne modernes et que son budget serait mieux investi dans les F-35 et les drones. Elle a entam\u00e9 l&#039;exercice budg\u00e9taire 2026 avec 162 A-10 en service et a demand\u00e9 le retrait complet de la flotte avant la fin de l&#039;ann\u00e9e.
