In an instant, a family man with no time in a fast, complex twin was the only person aboard who could fly it.<\/p><p>He keyed the radio and declared an emergency. White pushed the transmit button and called Miami Center, declared an emergency, and asked for the one thing he knew he needed: a King Air pilot on the line. Alarms and buzzers filled the cockpit, but he focused on airspeed and keeping the wings level.
