Force Protection Condition is the Pentagon&rsquo;s threat-level dial, and Bravo is the setting for when &ldquo;an increased or more predictable threat of terrorist activity exists.&rdquo; It means tighter gates, more screening, and a base that is no longer in the mood to throw a party.<\/p>\n<p>An airshow is the opposite of a hardened perimeter.
