Lockheed T-33 Jet Flight in Waterloo (near Toronto)
The Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star – often called T-Bird – is the first and only Jet Warbird available in Canada for passenger flights. The primary users – United States Air Force and Navy, German Air Force, Japan Air Self Defense Force, and Royal Canadian Air Force had used the T-33 as an advanced military jet trainer and for target towing. Other nations had also used the T-33 as a combat aircraft and reconnaissance aircraft. During the failed Bay of Pigs invasion in Cuba, the Cuban Air Force used the T-33 and scored several kills. The CIA planners of that invasion had failed to discover that the (US-supplied) T-33 jets had long since been armed with machine guns and bombs.
Fly a T-33 – the Flight Program
Before the flight, you will be doing preparations and training – within a total duration-time of 3h. Then you’ll be ready for the T-33 flight. The T-33 flight program is custom-tailored, the pilot will try to find out what you are looking for and meet your needs. If you are into G-forces you’ll get it with the T-Bird. On top of that, you can control the T-33 yourself. Something that our customers/co-pilots can do during all of MiGFlug’s flight offers.
After the breathtaking jet warbird flight, customers will receive a flight certificate, and some “hero photos” with the pilot in front of the jet will be done. Miguel (photos above and video below) sent us this feedback after his T-33 jet flight:
“My flight experience on the 6th of September in the T-33 was phenomenal and I could not have asked for a better and more professional group of people to provide me with such a fantastic experience, it was truly amazing and I thank MiGFlug for providing such a service. I also highly recommend the experience for any future customers you might have.”
The flight program encompasses the following:
